Ley Electoral art. 263: voting runs from 07:00 'hasta las diecisiete horas (5:00 p.m.); de manera improrrogable', voters in line still vote; art. 265: where voting started late, the JRV may by unanimity extend it to 18:00. Honduras is UTC-6 all year (America/Tegucigalpa, no DST), so 17:00 local is 23:00 UTC. In 2025 the CNE announced on polling day that the JRVs would extend voting nationwide to 18:00 (00:00 UTC) under that rule (CNE communication 049-2025, as reported by El Heraldo, 30 Nov 2025).
