PRECEDENT: 2024, the VRK approved the runoff results in 63 districts and the final Seimas result on Sunday 3 Nov 2024, day 7 after the 27 Oct runoff (LRT, 3 Nov 2024). No court-validation stage: complaints about counts go to the election commissions and the VRK must decide them before it publishes the final results (Code art. 189(3)); the Constitutional Court gives a conclusion on violations of electoral law only if the Seimas or the President asks for one (Constitution arts. 105-106, Code art. 191), which is not a routine step.
