Turnout 90.9%: 16,438,494 ballots from 18,091,591 registered voters.

National first-preference votes per Senate group, with the AEC's national group names, from the AEC table 'First preferences by Senate group' (national; checked against the final-results CSV SenateFirstPrefsByStateByGroupByVoteTypeDownload-31496.csv, summed per group: identical). Seats from 'Senate party representation' (sum 40). Senators are elected per state/territory by quota and preferences, so national first preferences do not determine seats. 'Liberal/Nationals' is the joint ticket in NSW and Vic (4 seats); 'Liberal' ran in WA, SA, Tas and ACT; the LNP in Qld; the Country Liberals in the NT. Rows: every group that won a seat plus groups above 1% without one; the AEC table lists 34 lines, the other 21 (all below 1%, no seats, including a zero line for amalgamated ghost groups) are left out and are in totalVotes.
