Unofficial results are posted by county and local clerks and collected on the Department of State results pages. Precedent: the day after the 8 Nov 2022 election the Secretary of State announced that "nearly all unofficial results had been reported by midday" (Department of State news release, 9 Nov 2022); the window therefore closes at noon EST on 4 Nov.
