Withdrawals are not taken into account; the ISIE sets the second-round dates by decision once the final first-round results are declared.

Names as the decision writes them in Arabic: قيس سعيّد, العيّاشي زمّال, زهير المغزاوي (rows use the ISIE's own French spelling from its 2024 presidential page, 'Kais Said', 'Ayachi zammel' [capitalised here], 'Zouhaier Maghzaoui'; Kais Said is commonly written Kais Saied in English). 9,753,217 registered voters; 2,808,548 voters; 2,689,408 valid votes for the candidates; 84,953 spoilt and 34,187 blank ballots (2,689,408 + 84,953 + 34,187 = 2,808,548). Percentages of valid votes as the decision gives them: 90.69%, 7.35%, 1.97%. Each count is also written out in words in the decision and agrees with the figures.     DATE (tentative, latest lawful Sunday): the second round must fall within the two weeks after the final first-round results (Constitution art. 90; Electoral Law art. 102). The latest statutory date for those results, after the full appeal path, is 17 Nov 2029 (34 days after a 14 Oct first round; see that record); two weeks later is Saturday 1 Dec 2029, so the latest Sunday is 25 Nov 2029. Without appeals the final first-round results would come about five days after polling (2024: Décision n° 552 of 11 Oct 2024) and the second round would be in late October or early November 2029. POLLS CLOSE: set by decree; 2024 precedent 08:00-18:00 local = 17:00 UTC (UTC+1, no DST). STAGE: the ISIE declares preliminary results within at most the three days following polling and the end of counting (art. 144); the window closes at the end of the third day. Preliminary, not final.

Presidential disputes go to the judiciary since Loi organique n° 2024-45: art. 145 bis, appeal against the preliminary results to the Court of Appeal of Tunis within 3 days of their posting, hearing within 3 days, judgment within 5 days of the hearing, parties notified within 3 days; art. 146 bis, appeal to the Court of Cassation within 3 days of notification, hearing within 3 days, judgment within a week, notification within 48 hours; art. 148, the ISIE declares the final results within 48 hours of receiving the last Court of Cassation decision, or after the appeal period lapses, by a decision published on its website and in the Official Gazette (JORT). All days count as working days (art. 148 ter). Art. 148 bis sets shorter deadlines (about 17 days in all) but says they apply to presidential elections held under art. 90 para. 4 and art. 109 of the Constitution (a reopened or early election); this record uses the longer regular deadlines. Summed: up to 3 days to the preliminary results plus 31 days of appeals = 34 days after polling day. From 25 Nov 2029 that gives 29 Dec 2029, the window's end (end of day, local).
