Decree-Law of 6 Aug 2026, new art. 103: lists, candidates and their agents may appeal CEC decisions "within two days of the date of publishing the elections preliminary results"; the Election Cases Court "must adjudicate appeals within five days from the date of submission"; "Elections results become final after the Court ruling is issued and applied or after the conclusion of the appeal period without any submitted appeals." Earliest: preliminary results on 29 Nov (CEC timeline) plus the two-day appeal period, so from 2 Dec local. Latest by statute without re-runs: preliminary by about 1 Dec, appeals by 3 Dec, rulings by 8 Dec. The CEC may also re-run voting in individual centres "within ten days, the latest, from the date of concluding the final tabulation process" (new art. 98(3)). Polls: 7 AM - 7 PM local (Decree-Law No. (1) of 2007, art. 78(2); CEC Facts & Figures page), i.e. 17:00 UTC (Palestine is on UTC+2 in November). The CEC may extend polling by up to two hours on a polling centre chair's request (art. 78(3)); in 2006 this was done in East Jerusalem. Preliminary results: the 6 Aug 2026 decree-law says the Central Electoral Office compiles them "within forty eight hours from polling day" (new art. 98(4)), and the CEC "shall announce the preliminary results ... within (24) hours of its preparation" (new art. 99(1)). That puts the legal outer limit about 72 hours after polling day. The window runs to the end of 1 Dec local time. The CEC timeline gives "Results announcement 29 Nov 2026". Precedent: 2006, vote 25 Jan, CEC preliminary results at a press conference on 26 Jan, based on 95% of the count (CEC news, 29 Jan 2006). No 2026 results page exists yet; it is not known whether the CEC will overwrite the preliminary figures on the same page, so no replacement time is set.
