The Constitutional Council's validated figures (Acórdão n.º 24/CC/2024, Decisão point 1, p. 32), not the CNE's of 24 Oct 2024, which the Council corrected (the acórdão quotes the CNE's figure for Chapo as 4 912 758, 70.67%). Council table: Total de votantes 7 238 027; abstenções 9 931 212; votos válidos 6 777 113; votos definitivamente nulos 205 601; votos em branco 255 313. Candidates as the Council writes them, ordered by votes (the table lists them in ballot order: Simango, Chapo, Mondlane, Momade); Council percentages 65,17 / 24,19 / 6,62 / 4,02. The four rows add up to the valid votes exactly; válidos + nulos + brancos = votantes; votantes + abstenções = 17 169 239, the registered electorate the acórdão gives (para. 2 and the Assembly table, Deliberação n.º 76/CNE/2024). Point 1.1 proclaims Daniel Francisco Chapo elected President (more than half of the valid votes, so no second round). Published date: the public proclamation of 23 Dec 2024; the acórdão is dated 22 Dec 2024. Polling was held on 12 Oct 2024 in the districts of Maganja da Costa and Gurué (Zambézia) and in Germany (para. 9). Read from the signed scan by OCR and checked against the page image. Party affiliations are not given in the decision table and are left out. Stage label: these are the Constitutional Council's validated figures (Acórdão 24/CC/2024, proclaimed 23 Dec 2024), filed under 'final-result' because the site links the last election by that stage; the CNE's general tally of 24 Oct 2024 is the race's final-result stage and differed (Chapo 4,912,758). Publicado por Conselho Constitucional (Constitutional Council of Mozambique), Acórdão n.º 24/CC/2024 de 22 de Dezembro, validating the CNE's general tally, 23 de dez. de 2024: cconstitucional.org.mz/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/Acordao-50-2024-Proclamacao.pdf. Official publication of the Constitutional Council of Mozambique (Acórdão n.º 24/CC/2024 posted on cconstitucional.org.mz); no reuse terms stated on the site. The acórdão is an official text of a judicial nature, excluded from copyright protection by Lei n.º 9/2022 de 29 de Junho (Lei do Direito de Autor e Direitos Conexos, BR I Série n.º 124), art.
