Counting machines transmit each station's result to the GEC as soon as voting ends (art. 68.1.2), and the GEC counts overseas ballots from 22:00 (art. 69.2). 2021 precedent: MONTSAME reported 99.3% of polling stations in by 01:30 on 10 Jun 2021, 3.5 hours after the close. The window closes at the end of the following day, local time. Preliminary, not the GEC's decision. Precincts where fewer than half of registered voters voted hold supplementary voting within a week of a GEC decision (art. 78), which can change the totals.
