Figures from the EC's update of 10 Jan 2025, 'results from 275 out of 276 constituencies' (Ablekuma North outstanding); the declaration of 9 Dec 2024 was based on 267 of 276 and the EC says the outcome 'remains unchanged'. publishedAt is the date of this update, not of the 9 Dec declaration, whose figures the EC did not publish on its site. Candidate names and party initials as the EC writes them. Total valid votes 11,683,483 (rows add up to exactly this; counted by us); total rejected ballots 247,937; total votes cast (A+B) 11,931,420. Registered voters: the EC gives 18,774,195 in total, less 121,269 in the outstanding Ablekuma North = 18,652,926 in 275 constituencies, used as electorate here to match the ballots; EC turnout in 275 constituencies 63.97%. Mahama 56.42% of valid votes, marked 'ELECTED' (more than 50%, art. 63(3)). Left out: candidate 13, AKUA DONKOR (GFP), shown by the EC with '-' votes and 0.00% (she died on 29 Oct 2024, EC press release of 30 Oct 2024). LICENCE: copied under the orchestrator's licence rule of 3 Oct 2026 (counts may be copied from the authority's own official publication when no reuse terms are stated, unless the terms forbid reuse or limit it to non-commercial use). The EC site has no terms-of-use or licence page (ec.gov.gh/terms-of-use/, /terms-and-conditions/, /copyright/ and /disclaimer/ returned 404 on 3 Oct 2026); its Privacy Policy (https://ec.gov.gh/privacy-policy/) says nothing on reuse of content; the site footer reads '(c) Copyright 2024 | Electoral Commission Ghana | All Rights Reserved.' The EC Chairperson is the returning officer for the presidential election (Public Elections Regulations 2020, C.I. 127, reg. 2(1), per ghana-general-2028) and declares the result after collating the 16 regional results. The EC's own record of the date is its press release of 10 Jan 2025 ('2024 Presidential Election Results - Results from 275 out of 276 constituencies', signed Jean Mensa, Chairperson): '*NB: This is an update to the announcement made on 9th December 2024 which was based on 267 out of 276 constituencies. The outcome of the 7th December 2024 elections remains unchanged.' The EC published no press release or results page of its own on 9 Dec (its press-release index has none between 12 Nov and 24 Dec 2024), and the 10 Jan release gives a date only, so observedAt is the end of 9 Dec 2024 local (Africa/Accra = UTC), stated as such; the declaration was broadcast live that day (press, e.g. GhanaFact 26 Dec 2024), time not taken from press. Polls closed 17:00 local = 17:00 UTC (EC press release, 24 Nov 2024).
