    Called by the Speaker's decision No. 145/2026 Coll. of 23 Jun 2026 for Saturday 24 Oct 2026, the same day as the municipal elections. Act 180/2014 §195a(1): "Voľby do orgánov samosprávy obcí a voľby do orgánov samosprávnych krajov sa konajú v rovnaký deň a v rovnakom čase od siedmej do dvadsiatej hodiny" (07:00-20:00; the general 22:00 close in §20(3) does not apply). 20:00 CEST = 18:00 UTC; summer time ends at 03:00 on Sunday 25 Oct, so Sunday times are CET (UTC+1). In the combined count the regional ballots are counted first (§195a(2), §195c(1)); precinct commissions send their records electronically to the district commissions (§153(2)), and the State Commission may publish running results on the Statistical Office website (§33(2)). 2022 precedent: the Statistical Office announced running results from Saturday 29 Oct after the polls closed, until Sunday 30 Oct, and definitive results on Sunday after the State Commission approved them (ZMOS notice, 11 Oct 2022); the definitive pages are stamped 30 Oct 2022 11:50.     The region's electoral commission (volebná komisia samosprávneho kraja) signs its record of the result (§156(1)-(2)) and sends it electronically to the State Commission (§156(3)); it publishes the results in the region and on the region's website (§158(1)) and issues the certificates of election (§159). For combined elections the State Commission publishes the overall regional results together with the municipal ones, after signing the municipal record (§195d(2)), on the Statistical Office website (§33(2)); the region posts its commission's record after the State Commission has announced the results (§156(4)). The law sets no deadline. 2022 precedent: the definitive regional and municipal results were both stamped "Dátum a čas zverejnenia výsledkov: 30. 10. 2022 11:50", the day after the 29 Oct vote (volby.statistics.sk/osk/osk2022/sk/ and /oso/oso2022/sk/).
