Electoral Code art. 101: voting 07:00-19:00, CEST (UTC+2), so the close is 17:00 UTC. Art. 135(1): preliminary results posted as received, and from the municipal commissions' records within 12 hours of the close. 2024 precedent (ODIHR Final Report): on 8 May 2024 the SEC published partial results by polling station on an ongoing basis after the close and announced preliminary turnout of 47.48 per cent for the runoff. Electoral Code (2021 text) art. 148: objections within 48 hours, SEC decision within 72 hours, Administrative Court lawsuit within 24 hours; art. 151(8): re-votes at annulled polling stations 14 days after polling day; art. 135(2): final results published within 24 hours of finality; art. 123: the President-elect takes the oath within ten days of the final results, not before the predecessor's term ends. 2024 precedent (ODIHR Final Report): runoff 8 May, SEC Conclusion on Finality adopted 11 May 2024 (day 3). The opening (day 3) follows that precedent; the window errs late to the end of day 25 (5 Jun 2029, CEST) to allow for a repeat vote and appeals. If turnout is 40% or less, no one is elected and the whole election is repeated. No court confirms the result afterwards, so there is no court-validation stage.
