Electoral Code art. 101: voting 07:00-19:00; Skopje is on CEST (UTC+2) after 25 Mar 2029, so the close is 17:00 UTC. Art. 135(1): preliminary results posted as received, and results from the municipal commissions' records within 12 hours of the close. 2024 precedent (ODIHR Final Report): on 24 Apr 2024 the SEC posted partial results after the close and announced preliminary results on 90 per cent of protocols shortly before midnight; tabulation was generally complete by the early hours of 25 Apr. The window closes at the end of the day after polling day. Preliminary, not the final result.

    precedent
Electoral Code (2021 text) art. 148: objections within 48 hours of the close or of the preliminary results, SEC decision within 72 hours, Administrative Court lawsuit within 24 hours; art. 151(8): annulled polling stations re-vote 14 days after polling day; art. 135(2): final results published within 24 hours of finality. The final result says whether a candidate won a majority of all registered voters (art. 120) or which two go to the runoff (art. 121). Precedents (ODIHR Final Report): 2024 first round, polling 24 Apr, Conclusion on Finality adopted 2 May 2024 (day 8); 2024 runoff 8 May, final 11 May (day 3). The opening (day 3) is an ESTIMATED floor from the 2024 runoff; the window errs late to the end of day 21 (18 May 2029, CEST) to allow for a repeat vote, though a late first-round result would also delay the runoff. No court confirms the result afterwards, so there is no court-validation stage.
