Electoral Code art. 101: voting 07:00-19:00; Skopje is on CEST (UTC+2) in May, so the close is 17:00 UTC. Art. 135(1): the SEC publishes preliminary results received electronically as they come in, and results based on the municipal commissions' records 'во рок од 12 часа по завршувањето на изборите' (by about 05:00 UTC the next morning). 2024 precedent: the SEC published partial results by polling station on an ongoing basis after the close of the 8 May 2024 vote (ODIHR Final Report); in the 24 Apr 2024 presidential first round it announced preliminary results on 90 per cent of protocols shortly before midnight. The window closes at the end of the day after polling day. Preliminary, not the final result.

Electoral Code (2021 text) art. 148: candidate lists may object to the SEC within 48 hours of the close (voting) or of the preliminary results (tabulation); the SEC decides within 72 hours; a lawsuit to the Administrative Court lies within 24 hours and the court decides within 48 hours (art. 151(7)); art. 151(8): voting annulled at a polling station is repeated 14 days after polling day, where it can affect the result; art. 135(2): the SEC publishes the final results within 24 hours of their becoming final. Results become final per electoral district. 2024 precedent (ODIHR Final Report): polling 8 May; SEC conclusions on finality adopted on 18 May (day 10) for most districts, 27 May (district 5) and 30 May 2024 (district 6, day 22), after a repeat vote on 22 May. The opening (day 7, 3 Jun 2028 local) is an ESTIMATED floor from the complaint deadlines. The window errs late and closes at the end of day 35 (1 Jul 2028, CEST). Appeals are decided by the Administrative Court before finality; no court confirms the result afterwards, so there is no court-validation stage.
