Moldova runoff 2029

Held only if no candidate wins at least half of the votes of the voters who took part in round 1 (tentatively 4 Feb 2029; Constitution art. 78, Electoral Code art. 146(1)). The CEC then sets, by decision taken immediately after processing the round-1 results and at least 10 days before polling, a second round two weeks after the first between the two candidates with most votes (art. 146(4)).
