Turnout 74.7%: 15,817,307 ballots from 21,173,638 registered voters.

The 222 members are elected in single-member constituencies by plurality (one vote per voter). The gazette publishes results per constituency only, not a national table: seats are the members declared elected in the First Schedules of P.U. (B) 605-620/2022 (14 Dec 2022), counted by us by the party label of the top candidate in each Form 16; votes per party are our sums of the candidates' votes in the 222 Form 16 statements, not a figure the Commission publishes. Labels are those on the ballot and in Form 16 (abbreviations such as 'PH', 'PN', 'BN'); full names are from the SPR's party register as given on its results dashboard. Coalition candidates who stood under a member party's own symbol are counted under that party, as the gazette labels them (e.g. 'PAS' 22 seats, 'DAP' 5 seats, all in Sarawak, are separate from 'PN' and 'PH'). 'BEBAS' is the sum of all 108 independent candidates. 12 rows: every label that won a seat; no label without a seat reached 1% of valid votes, so 11 are left out (largest PEJUANG 108,062, 0.69%; also PSB 57,579, PRM 6,293, PBRS 4,254, PUTRA 3,808, PBDS 3,053, PBK 2,311, SEDAR 1,036, PSM 779, PPRS 541, PUR 264; 187,980 votes in all). Seats sum to 222. totalVotes 15,613,980 = sum of line C 'Total number of votes by electors' over the 222 seats (= sum of all 945 candidates); rejected (D) 160,340; issued but not put in the box or not returned (E) 42,987; electorate (A) 21,173,638. ballots = 15,817,307, the sum of C + D + E, which equals line B (ballot papers issued) in 221 seats; for P.104 Subang (P.U. (B) 612/2022) line B is printed as 197,578, but the same statement's C 177,983 + D 938 + E 657 (E is defined as B-C-D) and turnout F 77.76% of 230,940 give 179,578, which is also the SPR dashboard figure, so 179,578 is used (the gazette's B column sums to 15,835,307). Checked: every seat's candidate votes, electorate, rejected and unreturned figures equal the SPR dashboard API (2022-02), and each Form 16 majority (G) equals the top two candidates' difference. Each returning officer declares the seat result immediately after the official addition of Forms 14 and 15 (Elections (Conduct of Elections) Regulations 1981 reg. 25D(7); spr.gov.my/perjalanan-pilihan-raya-umum), and the declarations appear on the SPR dashboard. Validation times (MasaSah) in dashboard.spr.gov.my/api/v1/2022-02/keputusan, read 3 Oct 2026 and taken as MYT (UTC+8): first seat P.207 at 20:39 on 19 Nov 2022; P.168 at 07:48 on 20 Nov; the last seat polled on 19 Nov, P.220 Baram (Sarawak), at 19:10 on Mon 21 Nov 2022; the postponed P.017 Padang Serai at 22:40 on 7 Dec 2022. The window closes at the end of the second day after polling (MYT), as in the 2028 profile; Padang Serai falls outside it. Reg. 27, Elections (Conduct of Elections) Regulations 1981: after the declaration the returning officer endorses the writ and draws up the statement of the poll (Form 16), and the SPR Secretary causes the names of the members elected and the statements of the poll to be published in the Gazette. No deadline is set; the gazette starts the 21-day election-petition period. Window as in the 2028 profile: from day 10 (29 Nov 2022 MYT) to the end of day 45 (3 Jan 2023 MYT), against the GE14 precedent of day 19 (polling 9 May 2018, gazetted 28 May 2018, per the EC as reported by Malay Mail). Actual: the results of all 222 constituencies were published in the Federal Government Gazette as P.U. (B) 605/2022 to P.U. (B) 620/2022, each dated '14 Disember 2022 / 14 December 2022' (day 25 after polling; day 7 after the Padang Serai poll), 'MENGIKUT peraturan 27 ... calon yang dinamakan dalam ruang (1) Jadual Pertama telah dipilih sebagai Ahli Dewan Rakyat' ('the candidates named in column (1) of the First Schedule have been elected as Members of the Dewan Rakyat'). The gazette gives only a date, so observedAt is the end of 14 Dec 2022 MYT (23:59:59 = 15:59:59 UTC). observedSource is P.U. (B) 606/2022 (Kedah), the gazette that includes P.017 Padang Serai. Petitions are optional and go to the Election Court; no court confirms the result, so there is no court-validation stage. (A by-election to P.040 Kemaman was later called, notice P.U. (B) 459/2023 of 17 Oct 2023; that later poll is not part of this result.)
