Tentative date: Constitution art. 26, the runoff 'se verificará ... el cuarto domingo después de efectuada la primera' - four Sundays after 18 Nov 2029 is 16 Dec 2029 (2025: 16 Nov and 14 Dec). Polls close at 18:00 local (Ley 18.700 art. 74), 21:00 UTC on the mainland. Mainland Chile keeps summer time (UTC-3) through November-January: Decreto 93/2025 (bcn.cl idNorma 1211955) recites the base rule of Decreto 1489/1970 (summer time from the second Saturday of October to the second Saturday of March) and the later decrees (1286/2018: first Saturday of September to first Saturday of April); press reports a Decreto 98/2026 fixing that period up to April 2029 (not read on the official portal). Either rule puts the polling day on UTC-3. Magallanes and Aysén are on UTC-3 all year (Decretos 143/2022, 93/2025). Easter Island (Chile Insular Occidental) is on UTC-5 in summer, so its tables close at 23:00 UTC. SERVEL publishes preliminary bulletins as tables finish counting (art. 185). 2025 precedent: SERVEL reported 57.44% of 40,900 tables counted in a bulletin posted on the evening of 14 Dec 2025 (servel.cl news, 14 Dec 2025). The window closes at noon local on Monday. Preliminary, not the official result.

Ley 18.700 art. 95: the colegios escrutadores meet at 14:00 the day after the vote (Mon 17 Dec 2029, 17:00 UTC); art. 104: SERVEL publishes their results as it receives them, replacing the preliminary ones. 2025 precedent: colegios met Mon 15 Dec 2025 and SERVEL published the provisional results on Thu 18 Dec 2025 (day 4; servel.cl news, 18 Dec 2025). The window closes at the end of Sat 22 Dec 2029 (day 6), UTC-3. Provisional and subject to TRICEL's escrutinio general.

Constitution art. 27: the calificación must be concluded 'dentro de los treinta días siguientes tratándose de la segunda votación' - by Tue 15 Jan 2030; TRICEL then communicates the proclamation of the president-elect to the President of the Senate, and the Congreso Pleno takes note of it on the day the outgoing term ends (11 Mar 2030). Ley 18.700 arts. 109-110 and 120: claims within six days (by Sat 22 Dec 2029); TRICEL meets at 10:00 on the third day and proclaims the candidate with the most votes. Precedents: 2025 - proclaimed in a public hearing on Mon 5 Jan 2026, day 22 (tribunalcalificador.cl, 6 Jan 2026); 2021 - proclaimed on 10 Jan 2022, day 22 (tribunalcalificador.cl, 11 Jan 2022). The opening (after the claims deadline) is an ESTIMATED floor; the window closes at the end of the constitutional deadline, 15 Jan 2030, UTC-3. TRICEL is itself the qualifying court and its rulings allow no appeal, so there is no separate court-validation stage.
