Ceará, Brazil, general election 2026: Senate

Final count

TSE EA20 result file, round 1, generated 4 Oct 2026 23:11:32 Brasília time: final totalisation ('tf': 's', 'and': 'f'), 23,765 of 23,765 polling sections totalised on 4 Oct 2026 at 23:10:27 (Brasília time, UTC-3). Rows: each candidate's ballot name and party as the TSE writes them, with nominal votes. Two seats, two votes per voter. totalVotes = valid votes ('vv', nominal) 9,715,006, of 11,811,044 votes cast by 5,905,522 voters (attendance, 'c') out of 6,991,044 registered ('te'); blank 845,706, null 1,247,655. ballots and electorate are left out because with two votes per voter the valid votes exceed both (the record counts one vote per voter). Not in the rows, as the TSE does not count them as valid: votes for LINO ALVES (PCO, 2,677, 'Anulado sub judice'). Elected (status 'Eleito'): CID GOMES (PSB) and LUIZIANNE (REDE), seats 1 each; winner marks the most-voted only (the field means 'most votes'). Diplomação (by 18 Dec 2026) is a later formality and does not change the count. Observed: the TSE result file for CE (senator, cargo 5, election 6259) shows the final totalisation ('tf': 's', 'and': 'f', all 23,765 polling sections) on 4 Oct 2026 at 23:10:27 Brasília time, recorded as 2026-10-05T02:10:27Z.
