    Date TENTATIVE: the election has not been called. The Landtag's term is six years from its first sitting (Oö. L-VG Art. 18(1)), and the last election was on Sunday 26 Sep 2021. The state government calls the election by notice in the Landesgesetzblatt, naming a Sunday as polling day and a cut-off date on the 82nd day before it (Oö. LWO §1(2)-(3)). For 26 Sep 2027 that cut-off would be 6 Jul 2027. ORF (20 Sep 2026) reports that there is no official date yet and names Sunday 26 Sep 2027 as the earliest regular date, four weeks before the term ends. That four-week reading is ORF's; no statutory text found here states it. A dissolution by constitutional law (Art. 18) would change the date. Polls: each municipal electoral board sets its own hours (LWO §37(2)). In 2021 polling stations closed at 16:00 at the latest (ORF, 26 Sep 2021), which is taken here as the close: 16:00 CEST = 14:00 UTC. 2021 precedent: postal votes and other voting cards were counted on polling day, and a result was expected around 22:00 (ORF, 26 Sep 2021). The preliminary result including postal votes was published on Monday 27 Sep with minor corrections (APA, 1 Oct 2021). The window closes at the end of Monday 27 Sep 2027, CEST.     The state electoral board (Landeswahlbehörde) records the result and announces it by posting it on the notice board of the Office of the Upper Austrian State Government (Oö. LWO §71(4)). Party representatives may object to the figures within three days of an announcement (§72). No statutory deadline for the announcement was found in the LWO. The new Landtag must be able to meet within four weeks of the election (Oö. L-VG Art. 18(3)). 2021 precedent: the final result was announced ("kundgemacht") on Friday 1 Oct 2021, five days after the 26 Sep vote, unchanged from Monday's preliminary result (APA via vienna.at, 1 Oct 2021). The board's notice itself was not found online. The opening (Wednesday 29 Sep 2027, 00:00 CEST) is an ESTIMATED floor. The window closes at the end of Friday 8 Oct 2027, CEST, one week later than in 2021, because no deadline binds it. The date is still tentative; shift the windows if the election is called for another day.
