Polls close at 7:00 p.m. (A.R.S. § 16-565(A): polls "shall be opened in every precinct at 6:00 a.m. on the day of election and shall be closed at 7:00 p.m."). Arizona does not observe daylight saving time, so this is 7:00 PM MST = 02:00 UTC on 4 Nov; the Navajo Nation observes DST, but DST ends on 1 Nov 2026, so it is also on MST (UTC-7) on polling day and the closing hour is the same statewide. Early-ballot tallies may not be released "before all precincts have reported or one hour after the closing of the polls on election day, whichever occurs first" (§ 16-551(C)); Maricopa County says its first results are posted at 8:00 PM, so the window opens at 8:00 PM MST = 03:00 UTC. Early ballots dropped off on Election Day ("late earlies") are tabulated in the following days, and Maricopa County updates results daily until all ballots are tabulated (Maricopa County Elections, Counting Ballots page). The window closes at the end of Sunday 15 Nov 2026, MST: an estimate of when the unofficial count is substantially complete, not a published time (from 2026, voters who show ID when returning an early ballot at a voting location have it treated as ready for tabulation, § 16-579(A)(4), which may shorten this). A 2022 count-completion date could not be read on an official page and is not used.

County canvass: the board of supervisors "shall meet and canvass ... For the general election, not later than the third Thursday after the election" (A.R.S. § 16-642(A)(1)(b), as amended by HB 2785, Laws 2024, ch. 1, which replaced the former 6-to-20-day window) — Thursday 19 Nov 2026; the window closes at the end of that day, MST. The window opens on Monday 9 Nov, the "First day to canvass returns" in the SoS 2025-2026 Master Elections Calendar, which gives 19 Nov as the "Last day for County BOS to canvass returns". The same calendar settles the signature-cure period as five calendar days through 2026: 8 Nov 2026 is the "Last day for signature cure of early ballots", and "2024 Az Leg Session Law changed signature cure to calendar days thru 2026" (the current text of § 16-550(A) reads "fifth business day", which is the rule after 2026). Precedent under the old law: the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors canvassed the 2022 general election on 28 Nov 2022, 20 days after polling day (Maricopa County news release, 28 Nov 2022).

State canvass: the secretary of state shall canvass the general election "not later than the third Monday after the election" (A.R.S. § 16-642(A)(2)(b)); "On the third Monday following a general election, the secretary of state, in the presence of the governor and the attorney general, shall canvass" the offices filed with the secretary of state (§ 16-648(A)) — Monday 23 Nov 2026; the window closes at the end of that day, MST. HB 2785 (2024) moved this from the fourth Monday and removed the old day-to-day postponement for missing county canvasses. The SoS 2025-2026 Master Elections Calendar lists 23 Nov 2026 as the "Deadline for the Official State Canvass". Precedent under the current law: the SoS held the 2024 general-election state canvass on Monday 25 Nov 2024, the third Monday, and the signed canvass is dated that day (SoS 2024 Election Info page: "Signed Nov 25, 2024"). Earlier precedent: the 2022 statewide canvass was signed on Monday 5 Dec 2022, the fourth Monday under the pre-2024 law (AP, via PBS NewsHour, 5 Dec 2022). An automatic recount is required when the margin between the top two candidates is not more than one-half of one percent of the votes cast for both (§ 16-661(A)); the secretary of state certifies the facts to the Maricopa County Superior Court within 24 hours after the last county canvass or the county canvass deadline, whichever is earlier (§ 16-662), and the court announces the recounted result by order (§ 16-665), so a recounted race becomes final after this window.
