The DIP 'nakon zatvaranja birališta može objavljivati privremene i neslužbene rezultate' (art. 94(1)). 2024 precedent (polling 17 Apr 2024, press live blog, not the authority): DIP's first provisional release came at 21:00 CEST with 24% of polling stations processed; 99.70% at 06:37 CEST and 99.79% at 11:30 CEST on 18 Apr (dnevnik.hr, 'Rezultati izbora: Obrađeno više od 99 posto biračkih mjesta'). The window closes at 14:00 CEST the next day, 2.5 h past precedent. Provisional and unofficial, not the official result.

    Constitution art. 74: the new Sabor first sits no later than 20 days after the election is completed (in 2024 counted from the official results: results 29 Apr, first sitting 16 May, convened by the President's decision of 9 May, per sabor.hr press release 'Konstituiran 11. saziv Hrvatskoga sabora'). Art. 109: the person given the mandate presents the government and its programme to the Sabor within 30 days of accepting it, extendable by 30 days (art. 109.a); the government takes office when a majority of all members expresses confidence.
