Held only if no candidate wins more than half of the valid votes of all eligible voters in the first round (tentatively 14 Apr 2029). The second round takes place within 14 days between the two candidates with the most valid votes; if one withdraws or becomes ineligible, the next-placed candidate advances (Constitution art. 101(4)-(5); Act 180/2014 §115). The Speaker sets its date, in 2024 in the same decision that called the first round.
