elections.gov.im Guidance for Candidates 2026 (rev. July 2026) §4.5: the first sitting of the House of Keys, where members are sworn in and the Speaker is elected, is on Tuesday 29 September 2026. "A further sitting of Keys will be held on Tuesday 13 October 2026 to appoint the Chief Minister." In 2021 the Keys elected the Chief Minister on 12 Oct 2021, 19 days after the 23 Sep 2021 poll (BBC News, 12 Oct 2021).
