When will the final result of the European Parliament race be official?

Expected between 2029-07-17T07:00:00Z and 2029-07-31T21:59:59Z (UTC), confidence precedent. No EU-wide results may be released before the last member state closes (1976 Act, consolidated art. 10). 2024: the EP said provisional results 'can only be published after 23.00 CEST, when the last voting polls in Italy have closed', and scheduled the first provisional results with a second seat projection around 23.15-23.45 CEST, updates as national authorities report, and the last projection around 01.00 CEST (EP press releases 28 May and 9 Jun 2024). The EP's own summary (10 Jun 2024): 'At the end of the night, a projection ... based on provisional results in 23 countries and estimates and pre-electoral data for the remaining four was published.' Estimates and projections from 18.15 CEST, before the embargo lifts, are the EP's aggregation of national exit polls, not counts, so they are left out of this stage.
