Polls close at 14:00 on the second day (§ 2(2) Act 88/2024 Sb.: "Druhý den voleb začíná hlasování v 8.00 hodin a končí ve 14.00 hodin"). The ČSÚ publishes the count live on volby.gov.cz. Per district, the ČSÚ and the registration office sign the district result record, which names the elected candidate or states that no one won a majority (§ 73 Act 247/1995 Sb.). 2024: ČT24's live blog dated Sat 21 Sep 2024, the first-round polling day, reported the count complete with five senators elected outright.
