Paper-ballot stations close first (14:00 CEST in 2024; the 2029 hours will be set by royal decree under Code électoral art. 142). Each main canton office sends its totals electronically to the Minister of the Interior 'le plus rapidement possible' and the FPS Interior publishes them directly (elections.fgov.be, Dépouillement page). The EU embargo on results until the last member state closes (1976 Act art. 10(2)) covers the European Parliament count only, not the Chamber. Precedent, from press, not from the authority: in 2024 more than half of polling stations had been counted by 20:00 CEST (La Libre, 10 Jun 2024 06:12), La Libre published national results as final at 06:12 CEST on Monday 10 Jun 2024, and Brussels results as final at 16:41 CEST that day. The window closes at the end of Monday 11 Jun 2029, CEST, to cover a Brussels-type delay. These canton totals are not the designation of the elected members.

The new Chamber does this at its first sitting (Chamber info sheets 09.00 and 13.00), which is 'généralement' in the third or fourth week after the election: 25 Jun-8 Jul 2029. The date is set in the royal decree convening the electors; precedent: 2024 decree of 18 May 2024 convened the new Chamber on Thursday 4 July 2024, day 25 (which would be Thursday 5 Jul 2029).
